The Indie 400: Heather McCorkle

It’s Sunday! And that means another edition of The Indie 400! Today, Heather McCorkle takes us on a quick spin with CHANNELER”S CHOICE, her YA book.

What drives you as a writer?

That would have to be my characters. They are the reasons I write every day, slaving over every word. Their stories deserves to be told and I can only hope to do them justice.

All right… ready readers? This is a fast one!

 The 400:

Gasping and holding her bleeding nose, Bridget stumbled back and looked at Eren with such fear that it snapped her control. Despite her struggle to stop it, Eren’s walls around her power came down. But it wasn’t quite right, her power didn’t flow out.  Instead, it felt like the core that was her power was taking a massive breath in, bringing with it not only Bridget’s power, but everyone it could reach.

People standing around the ring fell to their knees…

Told you guys it was quick! Of course, if you want quick, wait until you read what car Heather’s driving out of the Indie Garage today. She’s a girl after my own heart. I’ve a real soft spot for her model of car. They’re my fave, too.

So, what’s Heather’s pick?

How about a blue or green 1967 Corvette Stingray? Corvette’s have always been my favorite and that was a great year for them. Too bad I hadn’t been born yet, can you imagine buying one right off the line?!

A mean green ’67 with a 427 under the hood! Yeah, baby. 🙂

Okay, enough drooling. So where can you read more on CHANNELER’S CHOICE?

Amazon, B&N, Goodreads
